Milo
and the Magical Stones
In the middle of the ocean was an island. On that island lived Milo and other little mice.
Milo, a darling little mouse from Marcus Pfister's (Rainbow Fish) best selling children's books comes to life in this amusing CD by Dorling Kindersley (DK).
Milo and all the mice are very cold in their caves. One day Milo discovers a strange glowing stone and the Council of Mice decide to send an expedition to find more. Kids lead the adventure as Milo and his friends search their island for glowing stones to keep them warm in the winter.
There are two levels of game play and six different endings. Children guide the outcome of the game and if the wrong decision is made the mice can suffer the consequences. There are preschool activities all along the way and players can save their game and come back where they left off.
Children, ages 4-8, will complete activities as they search for stones. Kids will match crabs by listening to their sounds, jump across lily pads and catch flies to feed a toad and help a crocodile by replacing his teeth. Other activities include replacing stones by their shape, building a dam and more.
These graphics are bright and beautiful, the story line is charming and the characters are charming, helpful and friendly.
Milo will steal kids hearts and the quest will keep them coming back for fun.
